RAFFEY CASSIDY, ANDREA RISEBOROUGH, ALESSANDRO NIVOLA AND GUY PEARCE UNITE ON ANTONIA CAMPBELL HUGHES’ "HIGH END"
Beta Cinema announces that principal photography is underway on the upcoming thriller HIGH END, also known as DIAMOND SHITTER, written and directed by Antonia Campbell‑Hughes (It Is In Us All). Led by an exceptional international cast — Raffey Cassidy (The Brutalist, The Killing of a Sacred Deer), Andrea Riseborough (Lee, Goodbye June, To Leslie), Alessandro Nivola (The Brutalist, Disobedience, Love Story), and Guy Pearce (The Dog Stars, The Brutalist, Memento) — cameras began rolling on Sunday, March 8 in Geneva, with cinematography by acclaimed Director of Photography Robbie Ryan (Bugonia, Poor Things, The Favourite, American Honey).
The creative team includes Dixie Chassay (Dune: Part Two, Poor Things, The Favourite) as Casting Director, Saffron Cullane (Queen at Sea, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy) as Costume Designer, John Leslie (Saipan, It Is In Us All) as Production Designer, Wakana Yoshihara (Spencer, Cinderella, Belfast, The Roses) as Hair and Make‑Up Designer, and John Walters (It Is In Us All, Oddity, The Last Rifleman) as Editor.
Multiple award‑winning producers Rory Gilmartin (Christy, Herself, Calm with Horses) and Lee Magiday (The Favourite, The Lobster, In the Shadows) lead the production, with Alan Maher (Everybody Digs Bill Evans, Lola) also producing. Co-producing are Max Karli and Pauline Gygax of Rita Productions (La Ligne, Continental Drift (South), My Life as a Courgette).
The story unfolds against the backdrop of the affluent ex-pat community in Geneva: young intern Nollaig ignites a darkly visceral shift within the privileged home of her host family when she steals their precious diamonds – absorbing them into her body – in the process unmasking the deeper truths beneath their glittering privilege.
